The wild life and DMZ
Since the Armistice treaty was made in 1953, DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) which is 155 miles long from east to west of middle area of Korean peninsular is the natural restoration zone without direct human interference for 57 years up to now. Therefore, if Korea plans to restore the wildlife sacrificed due to the economic growth in South of armistice line until now, it's very important area for the biodiversty of wildlife to be restored.
